Indulgence
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
In this painting, we are spinning toward exorcism – to set free
our fears and demons, which do not need to make a home in our souls. We
discover our weaknesses and strengths. And, this knowledge makes
us victorious.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT
This is dedicated to the gay youth of America, whose search for acceptance is
a daily struggle.

STATEMENT
Part of the China Blues Series, the
snake and the mask are, again, shown. The mask is off and the snake has transformed into
a basket – holding symbols of the relationship. The table
is so full that its legs collapse underneath the weight of its bounty,
like a shot and wounded deer.
